This pacman game has some cool features such as a transporter which will warp you across the board. And even though the game author has made a valiant attempt to create a pacman clone with a pretty neat pseudo-3D (isometric) perspective, the gameplay itself is not as smooth as I had hoped. At times, it's hard to move the pacman guy through the narrow pathways. When I tested the game, the pacman ghosts also seemed to cluster together which made it hard to clear the top portion of the board.

This 3D game is very animated with the whole maze shifting perspective as you move around. Behind the maze you have a space background. You will recognize some features from the regular pacman game. You walk down the corridors to collect the diamonds and avoiding the "bad guys". Acually the game is a little more complicated than that. Sometimes you are to kill the enemy and sometimes you are not depending on your type of mission. You also have ghosts, fruits, and bombs among other objects. This game comes with 21 regular levels and with a level editor for the advanced gamer to create your own levels.

Without mentioning the brand name, this multi-level pacman clone was created as a promotional game. Beside pacman doing his traditional gobbling of the dots he scores 10 points for each collected bottle. In the game menu you can select one of many languages including English. Even at the highest speed rate (5) the game ran too slow on my PC which takes much of the fun out of the game. In Bechman the ghosts will never die which I find annoying too.

This game was created as a promotion for Knorr soup, which is also the source of how pacman gains his super-strength. Pacman has assumed the role of a cowboy and the traditional ghost characters are here indians. The graphics and sound effects are both funny, although the game lacks in user options. For instance, you only have 1 life which is annoying when you almost finnished the level. You don't score in a traditional fashion, instead it's the accumulated time being alife that counts for the in-game hiscore table. The game introduction is in Danish (click on your mouse to proceed)

Cacman is a nice Pacman clone. The graphics and sound are decent, and the gameplay is pretty entertaining. The game features 50 levels which gradually get harder and harder. You can press F1 anytime during gameplay to bring up an in-game help file. I especially like "Mission Impossible" theme song that plays in the background.

This is the coolest pacman I have ever seen! In capman, you collect pellets just like in any other pacman game. You control pacman and are chased by bugs. But unlike pacman, you fight back with things like machine guns and explosives. There are other powerups for speed and bouncing bullets as well. However, the bugs can collect power-ups as well. But don't worry, capman doesn't die on the first hit, he has a health meter. Although this game is very violent, the blood can be turned off. It is capable of multiplayer play in deathmatch or eatmatch mode, over the internet, over a network, with a link cable, or modem to modem. It also allows two players to play on the same computer. If you've ever been frustrated by the ghosts always eating your character in other pacman games, then fight back with capman. Note that if you switch out of the capman window and then back again, the display takes a few seconds to reload. And the graphics are 3-d!

Chomp Chase is a slightly different pacman variant on the classic theme. It's actually a fun freshness with unorthodox pathways which makes the game somewhat tricky not to be killed by one of the 4 deadly ghosts. Another off-norm feature is the dots that are made more alive with their sparkling appearance. So all in all, I enjoyed this game mainly because it's not exactly based on its ancestor. Perhaps the level design could have been drawn with more sofistication.
